Toko was founded by the Kojima family in 1597, making them one of the oldest active breweries in Japan. After the Kojima family became the exclusive purveyor of sake to the famous Uesugi samurai clan, they became known as samurai loyalty.
The brewers spare no drop of luxury and extravagance when making Toko Ultraluxe Junmai Daiginjo. Using Yamada Nishiki rice that has been milled down to 35%, and a drip separation method, this sake delivers an aroma like that of a gorgeous bouquet! On the palate, there are masterful flavors of strawberry and lychee that shine and blend together in a stunning finish.
