WE LOVE THIS SAKE! Fukucho’s female brewery owner, Miho Imada, is also the Toji – a rarity in Japan to have both jobs done by the same person!
This sparkling saké gets its bubbles from secondary fermentation in bottle, not forced carbonation like most others. Oh, and did we mention Toji Miho Imada created this cloudy, sparkling saké specifically to pair with oysters? Because it's true!
Fukucho Seaside Sparkling Saké is dry, fresh, bright, and zesty. It's made with a little bit of white koji, which is normally reserved for the production of shochu. Tons of lemon and guava tropical fruit notes. Lovely!
