Merlot is finally recovering from the “Sideways Effect,” a salty and ill-deserved slight in the 2004 film Sideways (which inspires the name of our next tasting). Merlot is one of the most popular wine grapes in the world, and for good reason. This educational tasting will celebrate the different styles and regions of this ubiquitous grape, and serve to show why you should indeed drink the f***ing Merlot.
